Commercial Description
We are small family-run roastery situated in the volcanic and geothermal wonderland of Taupo, New Zealand. Our aim is to provide coffee that is erupting with flavour. We offer a range of artisan coffees which are batch-roasted on a regular basis to ensure superbly fresh coffee for everyone — from individuals to corporate offices, restaurants, hotels and of course cafés.
Our region is at the heart of our business so caring for our environment is a given. We encourage reusable cups, use compostable packaging and repurpose all that we can. Leftover grinds go into our local community gardens and our coffee fuels the local bike community with bean sacks helping to bind the local bike trails with Bike Taupo.
Our beans come to us from around the Ring of Fire and volcanic regions of Africa. Our roastery sits on the edge of the Taupo Caldera under the watchful gaze of the active volcanos of the Tongariro National Park and this is where the flavours come alive.
To ensure that our coffee is erupting with flavour we roast in small batches made to order. The Volcanic range of coffee is varied with a great combination of blends, single origins and organic fair trade beans.
