"Tincup is made from a blend of corn, rye, and malt cut with pure Rocky Mountain water. Technically speaking, it?s a bourbon, but it also has a very high rye content. Our unique mash bill and extraordinarily pure water gives Tincup a bolder and spicier flavor than most bourbons."

A very enjoyable mellow whiskey

I really enjoy this whiskey. Smooth, sweet and warm. Best of all for me there was no harsh after taste.Well worth a try.

Epic bottle... whisky not so much

Attracted by the high rye content in the malt bill and the slightly more than 40% ABV, not to mention that awesome bottle and tin cup, I was lured into acquiring a bottle of this stuff.
Now I love me some rye, and a certain flavour profile at that! Tin Cup had little of it for such a high malt bill. Though it did have some "interesting" aromas.
I thought they might brow on me, alas this whisky left me feeling like yuck with an feeling in the mouth.
Mixed in cocktails Tin Cup is ok, not a good sipper though and for the price there are WAAAAYYYYY better options out there.
Not to mention this whisky has nothing to do with Colorado and is better referred to as Tin Cup Colorado Brand (tm). A far, far cry from home distilled small batch whisky that it is marketed as!

I'd much rather drink 37% Jim Beam than this stuff. Sucks, but there it is. (Did keep the bottle tho. ;))
