"It's the 13th bottling of Aultmore from That Boutique-y Whisky Company! You might think that 13 is an unlucky number, but it seems like no bad luck has befallen this bottling, as it's an excellent 28-year-old single malt from Aultmore, and it still features a shark scrapping with a dinosaur on the label.
Batch 13 is a release of 718 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries, as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Orange liqueur, dried fruits, and American blueberry pancakes. Underneath, there are soft hints of new leather and lacquered oak, with slowly building cinnamon and nutmeg heat.
Palate: Slightly chocolatey at first, with plenty of Christmas spice and full-bodied dark fruits. Creamy toffee, exotic fruit, sandalwood, and red grape add depth.
Finish: Bittersweet and wonderfully long."
