The key ingredients in the Slingsby range are hand-grown local plants synonymous with the beautiful and restorative nature of Harrogate including primrose, sweet cicely, nettle, rhubarb, milk thistle, rosehip and Taylors of Harrogate green and jasmine tea. Slingsby master distiller, based at Langley Distillery, Birmingham, has 35 years experience producing outstanding quality gins. Slingsby expertly combines Harrogate aquifer water, pure single grain spirit and their carefully selected botanicals which is masterfully finished in North Yorkshire.
Award winning Slingsby London Dry Gin is made with the finest locally sourced ingredients. It has 24 botanicals and comes in a smart, locally produced blue bottle.
Lemon with notes of jasmine and celery on the nose. An initial burst of refreshing citrus from the grapefruit base on the palate that makes way to the juniper notes before a very smooth herbaceous sweetness, led by sweet cicely and a light green tea scented with jasmine blossom. Sweet finish with hints of rosewater and fresh sage.
Serve with premium tonic water, on ice with a twist of grapefruit peel and add fresh blueberries for a delicious blend of taste and flavour.
