Commercial description

Aromas of nectarine and apricot are underscored by an attractive honeysuckle note. Our Reserve Pinot Gris is soft and textural, with delicious Pear, Nashi apple, and Nectarine flavours which linger through to a crisp, refreshing finish.

FOOD MATCH
This wine is versatile and would pair well to a wide range of white meat and creamy pasta dishes. Try with a Roast Pork or Chicken Carbonara meal.

WINEMAKING
The fruit was gently pressed and the juice was floated and clean racked for
fermentation. A selection of commercial and wild yeast strains were used at cool
and warm temperatures giving the wine vibrant fresh fruit and a weighty textural
element. 4% was fermented in older oak barrels adding to texture.

TASTING NOTE
Our Reserve Marlborough Pinot Gris displays lifted aromatics of rose petal, tropical fruits and a hint of ginger. The palate is generous with stone fruit, melon and a subtle spice undertone. An off-dry wine with lovely flavour concentration,
impressive weight and a lingering finish.
