Ramazzotti Amaro was first produced in Milan in 1815, and continues to be produced in accordance with the original recipe?known only by three people. Ramazzotti gains its distinctive flavor from thirty-three carefully selected herbs and spices, although notes of orange peel, cardamom, myrrh, galangal and cinnamon are the most pronounced.
A sweet to medium bitter amaro. Delicious mix of orange and grapefruit citrus, subtle red berries, liquorice and chocolate come to the fore in the complex herbal profile. Long finish with citrus, berries and chocolate bitterness.
Serve this traditional amaro straight, on the rocks, or soda twist for a great summer drink. Alternatively, try mixed with cola, or as a more northern twist on a Black Manhattan, or in a Midnight Stroll cocktail
