"Try Premium JAS Certified Organic First Harvest Matcha from Kyoto, Japan. A blend of first and second-grade leaves grown specifically for matcha. This is great as a latte and baking, but still delicious as tea, especially if you like a sharper matcha flavour. Made from a blend of first and second harvest leaves, this organic tea has beautiful floral notes and genuine tea flavour, great for lattes.
Please keep it stored in a foil bag, or fill with 250g to keep oxygen to a minimum. Keep in a beverage fridge to best retain flavour and colour.
What is matcha?
Matcha is powdered green tea leaves - think of a supercharged green tea! A great caffeine choice and alternative to coffee.
Why use matcha?
Perfect for you if you struggle with coffee and need an alternative. Matcha is unique because of the amino acid l'theanine present. When paired with matcha’s naturally occurring caffeine, this lessens the side effects normally associated with coffee, such as anxiety and restlessness. It’s also a great natural food colouring commonly seen in baked goods and desserts."
