"Planteray Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Rum is a unique and flavourful rum that pays homage to the character Reverend Stiggins from Charles Dickens' novel, "The Pickwick Papers." In the book, Reverend Stiggins was known for his fondness for "pineapple rum." Plantation Rum created this special expression to capture the essence of this beloved character's favorite drink. To craft Plantation Stiggins Fancy Pineapple Rum, two different processes are employed. Firstly, the barks of Victoria pineapples are infused in Plantation 3 Stars rum, which is a blend of rums from three different Caribbean islands. This infusion imparts the aromatic and flavourful qualities of the pineapple bark into the rum. Secondly, the pineapple fruit itself is infused in Plantation Original Dark rum, which is a rich and full-bodied rum with hints of spice and molasses. This infusion allows the sweetness and tropical flavors of the pineapple to be captured in the rum.
Once both the pineapple-infused rum and the pineapple bark-infused rum are produced, they are carefully blended together. This blending process creates a harmonious marriage of flavors, resulting in a rum with a rich and delicious pineapple bouquet.
