"The Pinot Noir grapes for this wine are sourced from select vineyards throughout Marlborough. Once harvested, the grapes are “cold soaked” for some time before fermentation. The tanks are plunged or pumped over daily to assist with colour and tannin extraction. The finished ferments are gently pressed off skins and left to mature for 9-10 months. The individual parcels are then blended, fined, and filtered, ready to bottle. The resulting wine has aromas of sweet cherry and wild berries that intermingle with subtle spice and wild herbs. Soft tannin and bright acidity lead to a long, flavorsome finish.
