Blissful Belgian Beer

I was thrilled when my wife found this classic Belgian beer was available at Whiskey and More, as it hasn't been available in Wellington for some time. A beautifully crafted beer with lovely malty flavour that is very satisfying.

Oh yes!

My favourite beer in the world, at the best price in NZ.

The aroma is inviting—notes of vanilla, clove, and subtle fruitiness with a touch of spicy Belgian yeast. On the palate, it’s elegantly smooth and well-balanced: fruity undertones (think banana and citrus) blend seamlessly with malty sweetness, a hint of bitter orange, and that classic spicy finish from the cloves. At 6.6% ABV, it’s full-bodied yet remarkably refreshing and easy to drink, making it perfect for savoring on its own or pairing with cheeses, seafood, or lighter meals.
This is a timeless classic with centuries of brewing tradition behind it—highly recommended for anyone exploring Belgian beers. 5 stars!

Great taste for the price

Not the best of the Belgian beers but it is a good taste for it's price as other belgian beers in NZ are much more expensive. Written by a Belgian.
