Nonno Mario obviously knew right away he was onto a good thing – Silvana’s bright, vivacious… and one of the greatest cooks I know. Now Mario won’t touch anything but his reds – but it somehow seems fitting that Silvana always asks me to open this lively and crisp Grigio when she comes around (she asks quietly, since Mario is hard of hearing!).
