Indri Founders Reserve 11YO Indian Whisky 700ml
Only
$780.00
Indri Founder's Reserve Single Malt Whisky, aged for an exceptional 11 years, is a heartfelt tribute to the visionary behind the Piccadilly group, Pt. Kidar Nath Sharma. Crafted with extreme care, this whisky embodies both the passage of time and the enduring passion that defines our founder's journey. This exclusive edition has been curated to perfection by marrying malts matured for a significantly long duration of 11 Years in ex-Bordeaux Red Wine Casks, in the distinctive sub-tropical terroir of northern India.
What sets this spirit apart is the accelerated maturation brought on by India’s warmer climate. Unlike traditional whisky-producing regions, the intense heat and humidity of India lead to greater interaction between spirit and wood, deepening the complexity of flavor. Over the course of 11 years, this whisky has developed a bold character far beyond its age.
Nose: Cask-forward with rich fruits like cherries, prunes, blackcurrants, and stone fruits. There are also notes of fruitcake, vanilla, oak, and spices, with subtle hints of orange pith and earthiness.
Palate: The wine cask influence is present but not overpowering. It features flavors of blackberries, eucalyptus, cinnamon buns, and a touch of tropical fruit. Notes of milk chocolate and toffee appear on the finish, creating a full-bodied texture.
Finish: Medium-long with dry oak, succulent fruits, and a hint of spearmint. It ends with a lingering sweetness of cherry-flavored candy and caramel-glazed apples.
Alc 58.5%
