Vineyard: This wine is picked from vineyards in the Hawke?s Bay high country of New Zealand. The soils are ancient river beds with a mix of free draining stony soils and clay loams.
Viticulture and Vinification: Vertical shoot positioned trellis was used with two canes pruned providing an average of 11 tonnes per acre. Cool fermented with aging and stirring on lees.
Vintage: A warm summer provided stunning flavours and structure.
Palate: Off dry to dry style with a succulent and rounded palate. Luscious pear, apple and mango notes with a rich texture and mouth feel, finishing clean and dry.
Variety - 100% Pinot Gris.
Colour - Pale straw yellow with light green hues.
