Green Isle Blended Scotch Whisky 700ml

Hits all the right spots for my wife's Friday night drink. She tells me every night has the potential to start with F.
Smooth, light but has lovely Islay notes.
For the price, definitely buy again.

I got two bottles in order from the good guys at W and M, just as well, this is a nice wee innofensive daily sipper. Sits well on shelf beside other favs JW Black, William Lawson, Hankey nabbister Original and 12, Chivas 12.
Nose: would hardly say smoky, there is a hint there, a meaty smoke rather tham medicinal. I get sweet toffee, little grass. Taste thin toffee, finish short. Would re-buy as a decent blend, not harsh. Why they call it 'Green Isle' as that conjurs up an image of an Irish, but it isn't?
