Eagle Rare Bourbon 10YO 700ml

Always reliable, good price point really

Eagle rare is one of my favourite drops. Neat or on the rocks. Don’t ruin it with coke! Amateur move. It’s hard to find in the US as stocks are low, so $100 nzd is cheap for this quality as you’ll pay $100 USD for it in the US. You can’t compare it to Wild Turkey… what a joke.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s a lovely drop. But when I bought it for $97 back in June 2023 and it now being $113 for no apparent reason there are a lot better options out there. Aka Wild truely rare breed. Even buying two buffalo traces will be more worth your money

Pretty disappointed with this. Didn't live up to the hype at all. Very grassy taste, and felt like it was missing a lot of the typical bourbon characteristics you'd expect.

Also in agreement with Paul below... The Elijah Craig small batch is far superior. Even four roses small batch trumps Eagle Rare for me.

Definitely a great drop. Super smooth and slips down far too easily for the next mornings comfort.
