"Delamain Pale & Dry XO is a flagship Cognac crafted exclusively from eaux‑de‑vie from the Grande Champagne cru — widely regarded as the top terroir of Cognac. It was first created in 1920, and its name refers to its naturally pale colour and dry flavour profile. Maison Delamain produces no VS or VSOP; its range begins at XO, with this expression aged for around 20–25 years in old Limousin oak casks. No sugar or colouring is added, allowing the spirit’s natural elegance — and fruit character — to shine through.
Aromas: Intense, richly fragrant with fruity notes of ripe apricot and citrus, followed by vanilla "rancio". Accompanied by further tantalising intensity.
Bouquet: Light and delicate, developing into fruit with a delectable, power-dry finish.
Style: Intensity and length and perfectly balanced."
