Full of spice and zest it is famous for its warming capabilities try it neat over ice add a dash to beer or top up a measure with your favourite mixer for a refreshing long drink. Ginger wine is a fortified wine made from a fermented blend of ground ginger root and raisins which was first produced in England. It is often fortified by being blended with brandy (especially cognac). Ginger wine can be drunk with ice ("on the rocks"), or without ice (either "neat" or "straight up"), and is frequently used as an ingredient - along with whisky (typically a blended Scotch whisky) - in a "Whisky Mac" (the shortened form of "Whisky Macdonald"). Ginger wine can also be served mixed with other beverages, such as lemonade, ginger ale, bitter lemon or diluted with water. Ginger wine is traditionally sold in green glass bottles, although the word "green" may or may not appear on the label.

A Mariner's Dream...

I was brought up on (what I now somewhat arrogantly think of as the only real version of) Dark and Stormy. No ice (sailers hate ice), 2 shots x highest available quality sipping Black Rum, 1 shot x Stones Green Ginger wine.
Size of shots you choose to suit your occasion...
Now, later in life, I find it is also very suitable as an Anti Covid infusion. :))
In both eras of my life the proper D&S has done only good things. But it was only ever proper if it was with Stone's Green Ginger Wine.

A Great old Favourite

This wonderful product has been used in our family since I was a child (I am now 71 years old), it is fabulous on its own or with a shot of Whisky (I would suggest you don't use expensive single malt though "sacrilege", or with Bundaberg Rum
