Havana Club Anejo Especial 700ml

Complex flavour profile which is bogged down by alcohol burn. Can be sipped in a pinch but a splash of cola and ice makes you appreciate the flavours without the discomfort of ethanolic notes burning away your taste buds. The next step up to this would be a Diplomatico or something along those lines which could 50% or more.

I was pleasantly surprised as cheaper rums tend to be more for cocktails and don't taste good neat. This rum is quite good neat. It is sweet with brown sugar and vanilla flavours but I don't find it sickly sweet. The oak is more subdued.
