Dewar's White Label 1000ml

Tried a few new tastes a bit lately and this was a total "stab in the dark". But an eminently pleasant drop and not over the top in terms of dollars. It is certainly not one of the top tastes BUT it is fine for keeping the cold southerly breeze away!

Agree with the other review, great with coca cola in a mixed drink, but probably not one you'd want to drink neat. Still though, for the price, that's to be expected.

It's smooth, honey + heather + oak + vanilla on the nose with a mild smokey finish. However, the whole thing is ruined by a bitter after-taste which is likely due to the casks being re-used too many times. Best to mix this into a highball or old fashioned.
