Ballindalloch 2015 'Single Cask Sherry Butt No. 111' 60.9%

"Ballindalloch 2015 Single Cask Sherry Butt No. 111 is a distinctive Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 3 March 2015 and matured for nine years in a single Oloroso Sherry Butt before being bottled in May 2024. This limited distillery bottling was produced exclusively for the German market, with only 655 bottles released, and is presented at its natural cask strength of 60.9% ABV.

Bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, it offers an intense, richly sherried expression of Ballindalloch's young spirit, with layers of ripe fruit, dark sweetness, oak and warming spice.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vibrant and fruit-forward, with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, red berries, peach and mango, alongside rich sherry sweetness and gentle oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful, revealing layers of raisins, dark berries, cherries and rich sherry fruit, complemented by honeyed malt, warm baking spices and subtle nutty oak. The high cask strength brings impressive intensity and texture.

Finish: Long, warming and persistent, with lingering dried fruit, sherry spice, oak and dark chocolate."
