Unleashed on an unsuspecting world, Ardbeg’s Monsters of Smoke have
been sighted in glasses around the globe, wreaking flavour wherever they
go!
The Monsters of Smoke trio pack includes 3x20cl bottles of whisky from
Ardbeg’s Core Range. They are: Ardbeg Ten Years Old, the original giant

feisty young creature with a formidable bite; and Ardbeg An Oa, a complex
whisky that sits in a web of flavour notes.
This pack offers more than just big, bold flavours. Inspired by the world of
1950s B-movie horror, each collectable bottle features a peelable label.
Whisky fans have the opportunity to discover and reveal unique artwork
lurking behind each label.
Ardbeg 10YO 200ml - Alc. 46%
The Ardbeg ten year old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance. Typically most whiskies are chill-filtered and reduced to a strength of 40% ABV. Ardbeg ten year old, however, is non chill-filtered and has a strength of 46% ABV, thus retaining maximum flavour, at the same time giving more body and added depth. It’s whisky with none of the goodness taken out.
Nose: A burst of peat infused with zesty lime, wrapped in dark chocolate. Bold menthol slides through tarry ropes. Savour smoked fish, crispy bacon, green bell peppers and pear juice. With water, comes cool seaspray on chalky cliffs. Beewax and pine woodlands follow, while toasted vanilla simmers.
Taste: Crackling peat, black pepper and sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. A wave of brine infused with buttermilk and currants. Smoke wells up bringing toasted marshmallows while espresso and tarry smoke develop.
Finish: Long and smoky with aniseed, toasted almonds and traces of soft barley.
Ardbeg An Oa 200ml - Alc. 46.6%
A welcome new addition to the Ultimate range. Ardbeg An Oa is singularly rounded, due in no small part to time spent in our newly established bespoke oak Gathering Vat where whiskies from several cask types - including; sweet Pedro Ximenez; spicy virgin charred oak; and intense ex-bourbon casks, amongst others - familiarise themselves with each other. The result is a dram with smoky power, mellowed by a delectable, smooth sweetness. Hallmark Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed are wrapped in smooth, silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, before rising to an intense crescendo of flavour.
Ardbeg Wee Beastie 200ml - Alc. 47.4%
Aroma: Very fresh, herbal, with hints of vanilla, pear, freshly cracked black pepper and
honey-glazed ham. Rich Turkish coffee, sappy pine resin. With water, more herbal notes like vetiver and fennel, along with aniseed, green apple and leather.
Taste: A rich, explosive mouthfeel with lots of chocolate, tar, creosote and smoked bacon, followed by a burst of antiseptic lozenges, eucalyptus and more aniseed.
Finish: A long, salty and mouthcoating finish with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.
Casks: Ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry
