"Akarua The Siren is a premium single-site Pinot Noir from Cairnmuir Road in Bannockburn, Central Otago. Made from carefully selected fruit and matured in French oak, it is a rich and complex expression of the vineyard. The 2023 vintage was produced in limited quantities, with only around 500 cases available, and comes presented in an elegant gift box.
Tasting Notes:
Rich aromas of dark berries, plum, cherry and baked raspberry, with floral notes and subtle barrel spice and wood smoke. The palate is full and concentrated, showing ripe red and black fruit, savoury spice and polished tannins, balanced by fresh acidity. The finish is long and persistent with lingering plum, spice and subtle pepper."
