Commercial Description:
Named after 5 Mile Bay, Taupo, New Zealand - where we spend many long summer afternoons on the beach drinking Gin and Tonics, while the kids are swimming.
Our Gin is small batch distilled and by small batch we mean 50L stills. We use a combination of maceration and vapour infusion to get the best out of each botanical. After distillation it is reduced down to our bottling strength with Tongariro Water from Mt Ruapehu, which is allowed to marry before bottling.
