Commercial description
Dense yet tightly structured wine, this is the first Tom Syrah to be predominantly from the Gimblett Vineyard. A core of rich plum and berry fruit is lifted by typical violet floral notes along with dark spices and a lick of toasty oak providing notes of cacao, cedar and smoke.
On the palate, the wine is elegant, long and lithe with medium weight and gravelly youthful tannins.
