Comment: A great whisky holding all the flavours of all the Glenfarclas in one glass. Being so warming, this is the perfect Hogmanay dram. Don’t be afraid of the strength and order a 150, if you dare! The smoothness makes the 105 drinkable at cask strength, but I suggest adding a little water to fully explore its great depth. For its price to performance ratio, the Malt Maniacs named Glenfarclas 105 their 'Bang for your Buck' in 2004."

Winter warmer par excellence

600ml of alcohol in this 1L bottle! It's really nice to drink neat but that can be like walking along a cliff edge on a moonless night. Adding a little water is like carrying a torch. Still my fav. cask strength.

Absolutely amazing value for money

The 105 is a seriously quality dram. One of the first distilleries to produce a cask strength single malt with no age statement but at a (consistently) affordable price, the 105 is excellent: malt, honey, Xmas cake mixed in sweet smelling petrol. To get this at 1L is incredibly good value for money.

My preferred dram

Not only does it taste great but also represents excellent value which plays right into my Scottish heritage originally from the deep south where the welcoming phrase was "will you have a spot?"
