Commercial Description:
This award winning genever rests & matures for seventeen years on Bourban barrels made from American oak, in the dedicated ageing warehouses of Filliers Distillery. In the barrel, the flavours and aromas complement each other for years. The wood plays an important role in this and perfectly separates the fresh & peppery character of the younger genevers, and the complex burnt aromas of the older ones.
The bottle is coloured in the glass and thus refers to the copper-green colouration of the stills over time. This genever is the signature within the genever range and can be discovered at its best when served pure.
Tasting Notes:
A hint of caramel & oak, followed by sweet, creamy highlights and a spicy, peppery finish.
