Glenfiddich 12YO TRIPLE OAK 700ml

I have not tasted the whisky as I purchased it as a gift, but when it does in due course get tasted it will not be possible to compare the tasting experience with the notes on either the box or the bottle as everything is written in French. This is not at all what I expected when I made the purchase, and I am concerned that the person receiving the gift may think it is some kind of cheap deal. Whisky&More say they did not know until I wrote to express my concern, and I note that this is now acknowledged in the listing. I hope the taste experience matches the (French) description, but for now I have give it a neutral 3 points.

Nice to try but prefer the original. Would buy again at the right price though.
