Could be smoother single malt

Not a bad drop, but there are better single malts. Overall it is certainly worth trying. I think that I prefer Glenmorangie. They are both price point whiskies and for $90-$100 you get an ok whiskey.

A well-rounded Malt from Highland Park. Excellent value for a consistent sweet & mild smokey sprit.

As expected this lived right up to what I have come to expect from Highland Park. One to be hidden in the back of the cupboard !
