Renowned for its rum, Hacienda Santa Teresa is also known for its coffee production. Nancy Duarte, the master rum maker, has carried out a specific refining derived from this know-how. She has in fact used American white oak barrels that have previously been used to age a rum cold-infused with Arabica coffee beans.

After a maturation common to the classic Santa Teresa 1796 , the rum spends 3 months in these specific barrels.

This special edition rum is aged in a combination of barrels, with a finish in Arabica coffee casks to impart unique flavors.

Nose:
Rich, aromatic coffee beans with a smooth sweetness
Notes of dark chocolate, caramelized sugar, and a hint of vanilla
Subtle hints of roasted nuts and mild spiciness, with a faint suggestion of tobacco

Palate:
The coffee cask finish is prominent, bringing a smooth coffee flavor without being overpowering
Rich, creamy mouthfeel with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee beans
A mild sweetness with hints of toffee, molasses, and a touch of dried fruit like raisins

Best Rum

This is one of the best rum in the world. This version is great and so glad to have it here in NZ. Keep bringin Venezuelan rums becasue there are a good variety and have many of the best rums in the world.
