Husk Pure Cane Rum 700ml 40% (RRP $68.99)

I purchased this after driving past the distillery in Tumbulgum while on holiday, I had high hopes. The Bam Bam spiced rum was interesting but you wouldn't want more than a couple of drinks.

This stuff is strange. Somewhat offensive aroma and flavour, as if something has gone off, something fermented but not in a good way. Will struggle to finish this, and I finish everything. Sad, I was hoping it would be a good base for a caipirinha.

Strong, unpleasant aroma, very unlike any other rum I have tried. Actually stretching it somewhat to even class it as a rum.
Tried it my usual cocktails, changed the flavour profile but not for the best.
