In a departure from the style of our highly regarded normally fermented Pinot Noirs, the Mon Petit is produced using the traditional technique of Carbonic Maceration, sometimes referred to as whole grape fermentation, to produce a lower acid and tannin wine that is accessible at a young age.
Being the younger brother of the Mon Cheval range, it exhibits the same refined aromatic and textural complexities, but with a gentler and more fruit-forward profile. Packed full of red fruit and spice aromas, with hints of anise, florals and a stalky herbaceous influence, it’s generous on the palate with firm tannins and medium-plus acidity supporting a solid finish. Vegan friendly.
