The Montana Festival Block Waipara Pinot Gris shows aromas of meadow flowers and wild honey. The nose makes way for a rich, weighty palate with pear and guava notes underpinned with subtle mixed spice.
The wine is ready to drink now, but can be cellared over the next two years while bottle-developed characters emerge This wine is delicious on its own, but will pair well with Asian cuisine with a touch of spice, such as Thai fish cakes or chicken tikka masala. It will be equally good with creamy mushroom dishes or warm goats cheese salad.
