Micro-distilled in small batch copper-pot stills, Empress 1908 is hand-crafted using eight signature botanicals: tea, juniper, rose, coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, cinnamon bark, and butterfly pea blossom. It’s the pea blossom, which we discovered in one of the Empress tea blends, that imbues the gin with a distinctive earthy note.

I only bought this for novelty value for cocktails over the festive season. It was excellent for that and we had fun with it, but I would prefer a local product for flavor over this gin for a regular G@T.
I watched a video of a bartender using this gin on Instagram and was excited to find it on Whiskey and More for a lower price compared to other online liquor shops. It’s a shame they increased the price in the last couple of weeks but it is a very nice gin and the colour change is beautiful
