The original rye whiskey matures for 7 years in oak barrels deep in the Green Tree Distillery cellar, five meters underground where it accepts the own story of the oldest European distillery.
Blend master Roman Petruš personally takes care about the quality of rye distillate with a typically sweet aroma of freshly cut rye. The first four years it matures to the softness and fruity taste and only rye spirits from the best barrels according to the 4 + 3 recipe, they mature for another three years, which makes the whisky more complex and its uniqueness fully developed.
After seven years, the exceptional Old Hunter´s SELECTION rye whisky is created. The number 7 is not only the number of years of maturation, but also a lucky number for those who are seduced by the delicate taste of the Winner of the World Whisky Masters 2020.
