Originally forged back in 1935, it is the flagship of a select group, known as Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo, that encompasses Lombardia?s illustrious Ca? del Bosco Winery and Sicilia?s Terreliade. Santa Margherita are well known for their innovation, and led the way forward in 1961 when they applied traditional white winemaking techniques to Pinot Grigio fruit, grown in Trentino-Alto Adige, creating the fresh, crisp style of Grigio we know and love today.
