"Starward’s first ever New World Projects release was unleashed to the world in March 2014, and now goes for thousands of dollars a bottle. Since then, many other Project iterations have passed out of Starward’s distillery doors – but none have been nearly as Scotchy or defiantly old-school as this bottle.
A lengthy maturation in heaving Portuguese Ruby Port casks – shipped to the distillery just for this project – has created their richest single malt to date. Bottled unadulterated in a 52% straight-from-the-cask style with non-chill filtration and no added colour, this expression blew the minds of the distillery’s founder Dave Vitale as well as Club members across the ditch.

Fresh blackcurrant, dried apricot and raisin with caramel chews and nutmeg.
Palate
Mulberry and fig, swathes of butterscotch, and candied orange. Finishes with dry spice, salted dark chocolate, prunes and macadamia."
