Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years the 'Connoisseurs Choice' range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.

Matured for over 3 decades in a single ex-sherry cask, this wonderfully dark Glentauchers shows off the expertise bottlers Gordon & MacPhail have in selecting whisky at their peak of maturation.

Aroma - Rich fruit cake aromas combine with cinnamon spice and dark toffee.

Palate - Stewed fruit and bitter dark chocolate flavours are balanced by cracked black pepper.

Finish - A full finish with forest fruit, clove, and orange.
