Bouquet: A vibrant, perfumed Sauvignon Blanc characterised by freshly squeezed citrus and dried herbs.

Palate: The wines juicy palate and fresh acidity upfront is followed by a soft, round texture.

Food match: Fresh, simple seafood dishes especially oysters. Also compliments goat's cheese well.

Cellaring: Drinks beautifully now or can be cellared for three to five years.

Dog Point Sauv Blanc - Beautiful

Dog Point Sauv Blanc - this is one of the very best Marlborough Sauv Blanc and is from the Wairau Valley. It spends longer in the stainless barrel fermentation process (5 months whereas most of SB spends significiantly less time). It also has a protion of the wine fermented using indigenous yeast. The result is a wine that I really enjoy - is smooth and elegant to drink (textural). A beautiful wine absolutely worthy of its reputation.
