In 1940 a very special bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was brought on a wild turkey hunt. The name stuck and still signifies exceptional, aged bourbon today. Master Distiller Eddie Russell honours this tradition by ageing our bourbon longer - from five up to eight years - in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels. With notes of sweet vanilla, pear, and hints of spice, this bourbon finishes with a flavor that is full and rich, whether enjoyed straight or bourbon cocktail.

Very easy to drink, no burn, buttery smooth, still has the usual Wild Turkey taste, but and easy drinker. Spicy, butter, caramel notes, love it!
I do like me a bit of Wild Turkey. Fair enough price for what it is & easily on par with other similar priced, big named bourbons. It earned it's place as a citizen on my shelf.
A great bourbon one of the best
Just as good as I remembered- gave me the chance to appreciate a top bourbon @ a very good price - just a pity my order was stuffed up - ordered and paid for 2 bottles but only received 1 - soon put right however
I normally drink Jim Beam Black Label, and thought I would try something different.
I was a little disappointed as it lacked the depth of flavour I have been accustomed to.
It was worth trying mind you
