My best memories

When I was a little girl my mum and dad always had this when we were on holiday with breakfast , only then as money didn’t allow it for more than a treat. Now the smell takes me back a few years, read a lot, and I have my kiwi husband loving it. It’s also great for getting rid of coughs, my mum always said it was medicine.
Anyway I ordered this for my husband, my dad was coming to the end of his life, bloody Alzheimer, and a week after the bottles arrived dad passed away, now we have think of him every time we have a sip.
Can’t thank you enough for stocking this

It'll put hairs on your teeth

I'm unsure how to explain Gammeldansk, except to say it's a bit like aquavitae and I had some in a stainless steel hip flash for one night. The hipflask was washed I soap and boiling water and 6 months later it's still smelt of gammeldansk. Highly aromatic and definitely a drink you either love or hate. I love it

Why I didn't want to review this Gammel Dansk

It's out of stock at the time of writing. Damn.

The drink.is a unique, very bitter dram, with hints of wild almonds, aniseed and burnt rubber. 65% of people loathe it. 35% adore it, especially with coffee after a savoury Sunday brunch.

I'm one of the 35%. Please don't try it, because:

- You'll probably loathe it

- If you do love it, it'll go out of stock even faster, depriving me of getting more.
