A relatively new powerhouse label, it combines the winemaking brilliance of Steve Smith MW (of Craggy Range fame) with the vision—and resources—of American environmentalist Brian Sheth. The result? A meticulously crafted, no-expense-spared Cab Franc that delivers power, elegance, and pure terroir in every sip.
Aroma: Perfumed notes of blackcurrant bud, red cherry stones, rosemary, and crushed thyme with a smattering of leather and spice.
Tastes: A very charming wine with poise, balance, and a long, lingering finish. Wonderful crushed red berry flavours: cassis, cranberry and rosehip are intertwined with exotic Asian spice and a dusting of toasty, vanilla oak, extending the palate.
