Interesting flavour

Made a mistake and told everyone it was caramel flavoured. This set off a whole debate (because it wasn't close to caramel) and it honestly tasted like liquorice, we all agreed it was Irish Moss liquorice flavoured. Then when I looked and stated it was Butterscotch we all had to try it again. Slowly for me it changed until all I could taste was Butterscotch. But the room was 50/50 split on tasting the two flavours. Tasted good regardless, but it was an interesting experience on how expected flavour influences perceived flavour.
