Girardin Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023

Renowned for its expert craftsmanship and exacting standards, Vincent Girardin has produced a regional Pinot Noir of rare quality. Cuvée Saint Vincent 2023 is much more than a simple introduction to Burgundy: it is a true expression of the Girardin style, combining purity of fruit, precision of vinification, and elegance of ageing. Made from 35-year-old vines planted on the clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Beaune, this cuvée is the fruit of meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar. Hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, cold-macerated, carefully matured for 15 months in oak barrels (30% new wood): each stage is designed to reveal the nobility of Pinot Noir, without artifice. On the nose, the wine seduces with its clear aromas of small red fruits - raspberry, blackcurrant, strawberry. On the palate, the attack is supple, the tannins silky, and the wine reveals great depth, balanced by well-controlled freshness.
