"Domaine Courbis Saint-Joseph Rouge 2024 is a refined and expressive 100% Syrah from the northern Rhône Valley. Produced from steep, south- and east-facing vineyard sites with predominantly decomposed granite soils, this wine combines ripe dark fruit with the peppery, floral character that makes Saint-Joseph Syrah so distinctive. The 2024 vintage offers a pleasing balance of power and freshness, with supple fruit, fine tannins and an elegant structure.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromatic and inviting, with ripe red and black fruits, blackcurrant and delicate violet aromas, alongside subtle pepper and savoury spice.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, with concentrated flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe red fruit. Peppery spice and subtle savoury, smoky characters add complexity, while fine, silky tannins provide structure and balance.

Finish: Long and refined, with lingering dark fruit, violet, black pepper and gentle savoury notes."
