Pleasant chardonnay -- possibly more suited to a North American palate.

It is indeed a pleasantly drinkable chardonnay but not a great wine to accompany the usual pairings of fish, chicken, etc. More of an aperitif or even, with its residual sweetness, a dessert wine.
