Grants whisky was first produced in the 1890's by William Grant. Today it is produced by the master blender and his team of craftsmen at Grants. They carefully select the finest single malt and grain Scotch whiskies, including the Grant family owned Glenfiddich and The Balvennie single malts and the Girvan grain whisky. Grants Family Reserve Blended Scotch Whisky contains a total of 25 malts which comprise of 35% of the blend. They are blended together harmoniously to create Grants Family Reserve with its deliciously complex taste and long smooth lingering finish.
Golden. Clean, sweet, fruity, malty. Vanilla sweetness with sharp malty notes. Long smooth lingering finish.

I buy this one regularly—it’s my absolute favourite. A while back, I sampled a range of Scottish whiskies within my budget, and Grant’s stood out as the clear winner. It delivers great flavour and quality at an excellent price, making it the best value for money in my opinion.
In my opinion, Grants, is one of the most pleasant, blended whiskies. It is smooth and mature. Coming in a 1litre bottle makes it excellent value for money and also great for my initiative of mixing 80% Grants with 20% of my chosen single malt thus making my passion for whisky more affordable!
It’s a good drop, considering the price. I’m satisfied with it. But more I’m really happy about the company whisky and more with the service I get. I just wish that the area courier would speed up its delivery service. My delivery courier is very good and he apologises every time my order goes over 3days unless of course the ferry service has not broken down or cannot sail because of the weather. Cheers gang.
Among the everyday blended whiskies I rate Grant’s Triple Wood as one of the best in terms of flavour and smoothness. A nice wee dram of a cold evening.
