The Glencairn Whisky Nosing Glass seems to be very rare in NZ but I have acquired quite a few.

The shape of these glasses were designed to enhance the appreciation (smell) of fine liquors and liqueurs. The cut crystal adds to the distinction of the drinks but the clear glass is more than sufficient; both are strongly made and should last a lifetime ... as long as you don't enjoy too much and go driving afterward!

Whisky for me is just as much about the experience as it is enjoying a nice dram. And it wasn’t until I was on holiday recently without my trusty Glencairn that I realised I couldn’t just enjoy my Whisky in any old glass. Fortunately I didn’t mind adding another Glencairn to my collection and Whisky and more promptly shipped it to my holiday destination.
