Dalwhinnie has a little bit of everything, peat, honey and backbone. A classic malt for everyone. A wholemeal and honey quality to the nose and the odd smoky tangent. A sweet, fruity core and a long round finish. Some of Dalwhinnie's complexity is from the water, sourced from Allt an t'Sluie Burn, some is from the traditional worms and the two stills and yet I feel sure that the altitude and weather must also play their part. The young spirit is aged in Ex-Bourbon casks for 15 years before bottling.

Good whisky great prize.
This is a really smooth and classy whisky. I think I have found in this whisky a whisky that I will cme back to often.
All round delightful taste and exceptional value
Our favourite whisky!!
An interesting drop. The Peat flavour though mild is unexpected considering I do not favour peaty whisky but once poured over ice & left for a few minutes, it sweetens in taste and becomes a suprisingly very pleasant drop that ai enjoy. This is why it is my second go at this Single Malt.
