"An extraordinary award-winning gin, produced by the enigmatic Professor Cornelius Ampleforth. Made using the traditional method of Cold Compounding (or in layman's terms - infusing). Very high quality copper pot-still spirit is infused with ingredients including Juniper, Orange Peel, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cloves and Cardamom. This gin is made in ultra-small batches, and the length of the compounding period is controlled entirely by periodic sampling. The result is an extraordinary gin, lightly tinted by the botanicals, and with a flavour which is both bold, and perfumed all at once. Sure to be a hit with amateur and professional mixologists alike. Packaged using brown paper, string and wax, the presentation puts us in mind of a Victorian apothecary!"

The inside is yum

Tastes good, a little bit of challenge but not too much, which I like.
But the wax was a flaky mess, very quickly my kitchen counter was covered with black crumbs. And bottles that don't let you see how close you are to the bottom are a recipe for disappointment (that last pour where there is less left than you realized)

My favourite gin

This is my most favourite gin ever and although I try to keep for special occasions it has become my most days gin! To me it’s a lovely dry with some soft botanical notes creating perfection in a glass. I add fever tree Mediterranean tonic as it doesn’t deter from the beautiful flavour of the gin … and not too much mix. Love the beautiful bottle also so I keep them and soon may be able to build a house with my collection lol.
