"Black Tot Finest Carribbean Rum is inspired by the traditional Navy Rum blend. Aged entirely in the tropics, the unique flavour profiles of Guyana, Barbados and Jamaica have been blended together to create a rum full of tropical, coffee and chocolate notes.

For the British Royal Navy (and for most rum lovers everywhere) Black Tot Day refers to 31st July, 1970 - the day that the daily rum issue was brought to an end, and with it the end of one of the most unique and enduring rum blends ever created.
In recent years the team at Elixir Distillers have revived the tradition of Navy style rum with the Black Tot Finest Caribbean. While honoring time old components of the original Navy Rum they have created a blend that appeals to the modern palate at the same time. Over the course of 2 years, 26 different blends where tried and tested by head blender, Oliver Chilton, until finally Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum was born.
? Nose: tropical breezes of pineapple, mango, melon and a feast of Caribbean sweets
? Palate: Full-bodied texture laced with intense espresso and dark chocolate at first, before developing into ginger cake, cloves, juicy honeydew melon and warm cardamom buns.
? Finish: lengthy, rounded off with tropical fruits, chili jam, masala chai and roasted banana
